The Crimean Peninsula has an area of 25.5 thousand square kilometers Waters of the Black and Azov ski seas wash coast of the Crimea. Only a narrow Perekop isthmus connects it with the mainland. Three the Crimean mountains grew DAMI stretches to the South of the Peninsula. To the North lie the steppes of the Crimea, and between the Main (South) ridge of the mountains and the sea – South coast – the coastal strip of land from 2 to 8 km. It stretches 105 km from Cape Aiya in the West to the town of Alushta in the East.
